A man wakes from a two-month coma with total amnesia. He's told that his wife and son were killed. A Colonel who claims to be his best friend reveals that he's a Major of the Military Security Agency. His only chance of discovering his identity and his family's killer is to accept a game set up for him by a State Security inspector, involving a businessman, a mafioso, and a politician. He agrees, and discovers that he was a war criminal, who took a shot at him, who killed his family, and finally, who is the Fourth Man.
