The fifth and final installment of the "Bye, Inspector" film series. Two clumsy policemen are dismissed from the force for breaches of discipline and various schemes. They open a private detective agency, hoping to fight crime in their own way and get rich in Chicago. But their clumsiness lands them in trouble with the police once again, and the trip to Chicago remains an unfulfilled dream.
